2024 Contest Categories

Faceup Contest

  • Faceup must be by one person, and only the person entering.
  • Entry does not need to be a complete doll, can be a head only.
  • Display must be secure either with a stand or free standing.
  • Stands will not be provided by the expo. The expo is not responsible for any damage while on display.

Doll Costume Contest

  • Costume must be by one person, and only the person entering.
  • Costume needs to be handmade. Accessories like shoes do not have to be made by the entrant.
  • Display must be secure either with a stand or free standing.
  • Stands will not be provided by the expo. The expo is not responsible for any damage while on display.

Photography Contest

  • Photography must be by one person, and only the person entering.
  • Does not have to be on a stand or framed.
  • The expo is not responsible for any damage while on display.

Diorama Contest

  • Diorama must be by one person, and only the person entering.
  • Diorama needs to be made by the person entering but not every element needs to be handmade or by the person entering.
  • Display must be secure either with a stand or free standing.
  • Please make space for attendees to take photos of their dolls inside your diorama.

Contests

About the contests: Everyone is welcome to enter the contests including full registration attendees, daily attendees, and vendors.

Contest winners will be determined by attendee votes. Prizes will be determined closer to the event, when we have an inventory of all the donations.

Entries will be displayed in the vendor room. The room will be locked overnight but entrants are welcome to take home their entries and return them the next day. The expo is not responsible for theft or damage.

Contest entries must be delivered and set up by Saturday at 10:00 am. Entries must stay until the vendor room closes on Sunday at 3:00 pm. Winners will be announced between 3-4:00 pm on Sunday afternoon.

Contest entries are limited to one entry per person. Entry cannot be entered in multiple contests.
